The Conductor equipment is time saving, stress free and unique. A colored light lets' the dispatcher know if he is speaking on the phone or the radio. Releasing the footswitch allows the dispatcher to continue the phone conversation on the other line. Pushing on the footswitch enables the radio communication and puts the phone call on hold. The Dispatcher is talking on the telephone and has a radio call coming in. He excuses himself with the person on the phone then pushes down on the footswitch.
